THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY NJ HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  WESTERN BERKS COUNTY IN EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA

* UNTIL 200 AM EDT.

* AT 1055 PM EDT...WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A LARGE AREA OF
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVING EAST FROM THE LOWER SUSQUEHANNA
VALLEY. RADAR ESTIMATES RAINFALL AMOUNTS IN EXCESS OF AN INCH AN
HOUR. SOME AREAS IN WESTERN BERKS COUNTY HAVE ALREADY RECEIVED
FROM 3 TO 5 INCHES OF RAIN FROM PREVIOUS STORMS. ADDITIONAL
HEAVY RAIN WILL CAUSE STREAMS AND CREEKS TO OVERFLOW THEIR BANKS
AND MAY ALSO PRODUCE ROADWAY FLOODING...ESPECIALLY IN AREAS OF
POOR DRAINAGE.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT
QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY
IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
