* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...

  IN SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT...
     EASTERN FAIRFIELD...

* UNTIL 600 PM EDT...

* AT 254 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER THE WARNED AREA.  RADAR
  RAINFALL ESTIMATES NEAR SHELTON AND JUST NORTH OF TRUMBELL WERE
  NEARLY 3 INCHES SINCE 100 PM.  ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL IS
  EXPECTED THROUGH AT LEAST 430 PM.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED. MOVE TO
HIGHER GROUND.
