* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...

  IN SOUTHEASTERN NEW YORK STATE...
     SOUTHWESTERN SUFFOLK...

* UNTIL 200 PM EDT...

* AT 1254 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  THUNDERSTORMS MOVING NORTHWEST TOWARD THE WARNED AREA.

RAINFALL RATES FROM 2 TO 3 INCHES PER HOUR WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING
OF LOW LYING AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED. MOVE TO
HIGHER GROUND.
