* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...

  IN SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT...
     NEW HAVEN...

* UNTIL 1130 PM EDT...

* AT 935 PM EDT HEAVY RAIN WAS FALLING ACROSS THE CENTRAL AND
EASTERN PORTION OF NEW HAVEN COUNTY. DOPPLER RADAR IS SHOWING A
RAINFALL RATE OF AROUND 2 INCHES PER HOUR WHICH MAY CONTINUE FOR
ANOTHER HOUR OR TWO BEFORE EXITING THE COUNTY.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND UNDERPASSES.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
