THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN THE TWIN CITIES HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  MORRISON COUNTY IN CENTRAL MINNESOTA
  TODD COUNTY IN CENTRAL MINNESOTA

* UNTIL 400 AM CDT

* AT 1115 PM CDT...TORRENTIAL RAINFALL WAS OCCURING FROM A LINE OF
  STORMS.  THE STORMS EXTENDED ACROSS VIRTUALLY ALL OF TODD AND
  MORRISON COUNTIES...WITH HEAVY RAIN FALLING IN LONG PRAIRIE...
  BURTRUM...LITTLE FALLS...ELMDALE...LASTRUP...HILLMAN AND BUCKMAN.

ALTHOUGH THE STORMS WERE DRIFTING SOUTHWARD...ADDITIONAL STORMS
CONTINUED TO DEVELOP AND MOVE IN FROM THE WEST.  THEREFORE SOME AREAS
COULD PICK UP 5 TO 7 INCHES RAIN DURING THE NIGHT.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT
QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  MOVE AWAY
FROM AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.  IF YOUR
VEHICLE STALLS, ABANDON IT IMMEDIATELY AND SEEK HIGHER GROUND.
