  ESCAMBIA COUNTY IN ALABAMA
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF...ATMORE...BREWTON...EAST BREWTON

* UNTIL 645 PM CDT

* AT 618 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER ATMORE...OR ABOUT 3 MILES NORTHEAST OF   
ATMORE...NEARLY STATIONARY. 

IN ADDITION...RADAR IS INDICATING A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM NEAR 
CASTLEBERRY IN CONECUH COUNTY...NEAR THE NORTHERN BORDER OF ESCAMBIA 
COUNTY. THIS STORM WAS ALSO STATIONARY...BUT IS CLOSE ENOUGH TO 
ESCAMBIA COUNTY'S BORDER TO PRODUCE STRONG WINDS AND HEAVY RAIN 
NORTH OF KIRKLAND IN NORTH CENTRAL ESCAMBIA COUNTY.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. FOR 
YOUR PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR 
HOME OR BUSINESS. HEAVY RAINS FLOOD ROADS QUICKLY SO DO NOT DRIVE 
INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
