THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOBILE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  GREENE COUNTY IN MISSISSIPPI AND PERRY COUNTY IN MISSISSIPPI

* UNTIL 900 PM CDT

* AT 654 PM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED SLOW       
  MOVING THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL OVER NORTHERN   
  AND CENTRAL PORTIONS OF GREENE AND PERRY COUNTIES.  RADAR          
  INDICATES THAT UP TO 3 INCHES OF RAINFALL HAS FALLEN OVER PERRY    
  COUNTY IN THE VICINITY OF RICHTON AND BEAUMONT SINCE 6 PM.         
  SIMILAR HOURLY RAINFALL RATES HAVE ALSO OCCURRED OVER              
  NORTHERN GREEN COUNTY NORTH OF MCLAIN.  THE STORMS ARE MOVING      
  TOWARD THE SOUTHEAST AT LESS THAN 10 MPH...AND ADDITIONAL HEAVY    
  RAINFALL IS LIKELY OVER THE ABOVE MENTIONED LOCATIONS THROUGH 900  
  PM.  

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS 
IMMINENT. IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNING AREA MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND 
IMMEDIATELY. EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH 
FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...COUNTY 
ROADS...HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND UNDERPASSES AS WELL AS OTHER DRAINAGE 
AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS.
