THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOBILE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  CHOCTAW COUNTY IN SOUTHWESTERN ALABAMA

* UNTIL 145 AM CST

* AT 1125 PM CST... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR AT MOBILE
  INDICATED THAT ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN
  WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE EAST-NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH ACROSS CHOCTAW
  COUNTY.

* THIS WILL CAUSE WIDESPREAD FLOODING OF SMALL STREAMS AND POOR
  DRAINAGE AREAS ACROSS THE COUNTY.  CHOCTAW COUNTY EMERGENCY
  MANAGEMENT REPORTED THAT HIGHWAY 156 NEAR PENNINGTON HAS BEEN
  CLOSED DUE TO HIGH WATER.

THIS IS AN EXTENSION OF THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING CURRENTLY IN EFFECT
FOR CHOCTAW COUNTY.

DON'T DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD!

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED...
ACT QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS
SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING. IT IS VERY DIFFICULT
AT NIGHT TO TELL HOW MUCH WATER IS ON ROADS. MOTORISTS SHOULD NOT
DRI8VE THROUGH WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH.
