THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SULLIVAN HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SAUK COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN
  IOWA COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN

* UNTIL 500 AM CDT

* AT 1107 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  VERY HEAVY RAIN WAS OCCURRING OVER MUCH OF THE WARNING AREA.

* WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES ARE THAT AROUND 2 INCHES
  OF RAINFALL FELL DURING THE PAST HOUR IN WESTERN IOWA COUNTY. THIS
  RAIN...AND THE ADDITIONAL EXPECTED...WILL AFFECT MUCH OF SAUK AND
  IOWA COUNTY...AND CAUSE LOCAL STREAMS AND RIVERS TO RISE RAPIDLY
  AND OVERFLOW THEIR BANKS.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT
QU@ICKLY. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS
RISING.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES.
