NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MIAMI FL 639 PM EDT WED JUL 5 2000 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MIAMI HAS ISSUED A * FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR... CENTRAL COLLIER COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST FLORIDA * UNTIL 930 PM EDT * AT 630 PM EDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER MILES CITY...OR ABOUT 15 MILES NORTH OF OCHOPEE ...AND JUST WEST OF SUNNILAND ALONG ROUTE 29...OR ABOUT 6 MILES NORTH OF MILES CITY. THE THUNDERSTORM PRODUCING THE RAIN WAS MOVING VERY SLOWLY TO THE SOUTHWEST. * THE THUNDERSTORM WITH THE EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL AFFECT MOTORISTS ON ALLIGATOR ALLEY AND ROUTE 29 WITH BLINDING RAINFALL AND WITH WATER STANDING ON THE ROADWAYS.
