* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  BREWSTER COUNTY IN TEXAS
  SOUTHEASTERN JEFF DAVIS COUNTY IN TEXAS
  SOUTHERN PECOS COUNTY IN TEXAS
  NORTHEASTERN PRESIDIO COUNTY IN TEXAS

* AT 621 PM CDT...A SPOTTER REPORTED EXCESSIVE RAINFALL AND FLOODING 
IN THE TOWN OF MARATHON.  THIS IS THE RESULT OF WIDESPREAD 
THUNDERSTORMS MOVING NORTH-NORTHEAST AT AROUND 25 MPH OUT OF OLD 
MEXICO AND INTO THE AREA.  

* SOME LOCATIONS AFFECTED BY THIS FLASH FLOOD WARNING INCLUDE...

THE GROUND IN THIS AREA IS ALREADY SATURATED FROM PREVIOUS RAINS AND 
RADAR ESTIMATES OF UP TO 3 TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN IN SOME 
LOCATIONS. THIS ADDITIONAL RAINFALL WILL ONLY MAKE MATTERS WORSE.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...UNDERPASSES...LOW WATER CROSSINGS...AND NORMALLY
DRY WASHES.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT
QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY
IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
