THE MIDLAND-ODESSA NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  WESTERN EDDY COUNTY IN NEW MEXICO

* UNTIL 1030 PM MDT

* AT 430 PM MDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR DETECTED NUMEROUS
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER RURAL AREAS OF WESTERN
  EDDY COUNTY. THE STORMS WERE MOVING TO THE EAST AND SOUTHEAST NEAR
  20 MPH. 

* SOME OF THE ARROYOS AND DRAWS AFFECTED INCLUDE...
  BOX CANYON...SEGREST DRAW...NORTH SEVEN RIVERS...LAST CHANCE CANYON.

HEAVY RAINS ARE FALLING ACROSS WEST-CENTRAL EDDY COUNTY AND ADDITIONAL
THUNDERSTORMS ARE MOVING IN FROM THE WEST. MANY DRAWS AND
ARROYOS IN THIS AREA WILL LIKELY EXPERIENCE FLASH FLOODING DURING
THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS...ESPECIALLY THOSE MENTIONED ABOVE. NUMEROUS
SECONDARY ROADS IN WESTERN EDDY COUNTY WILL LIKELY BECOME IMPASSIBLE
AS THESE HEAVY RAINS CONTINUE AND THE RUNOFF FROM THESE RAINS 
COLLECTS INTO NORMALLY DRY ARROYOS AND DRAWS.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
