THE MIDLAND-ODESSA NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTHERN TERRELL COUNTY IN TEXAS

* UNTIL 1015 PM CDT

* AT 713 PM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR DETECTED A LINE OF   
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN FROM 26 MILES NORTHWEST OF SANDERSON   
  TO 35 MILES NORTH OF SANDERSON...MOVING EAST AT 20 MPH.

* SOME LOCATIONS AFFECTED BY THIS FLASH FLOOD WARNING INCLUDE...   
  THE INTERSECTION OF FM 2400 AND INDEPENDENCE CREEK AND THE INTERSECTION
  OF HIGHWAY 349 AND INDEPENDENCE CREEK. 

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THESE STORMS WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...LOW WATER CROSSINGS...AND NORMALLY DRY WASHES.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT
QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY
IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
