  EASTERN JEFF DAVIS COUNTY IN TEXAS

* UNTIL 445 PM CDT

* AT 245 PM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR DETECTED A
  THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER EXTREME EAST CENTRAL JEFF
  DAVIS COUNTY...DRIFTING EAST AT UNDER 5 MPH.

RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES PER HOUR WERE DETECTED BY RADAR 
JUST EAST OF MAJOR PEAK...OR 14 MILES NORTHEAST OF FORT DAVIS.  THE AREA
OF HEAVIEST RAIN SHOULD REMAIN EAST OF HIGHWAY 17. HORSE THIEF CANYON...
BARRILLA DRAW...AND OTHER ARROYOS AND DRAWS TO THE EAST OF MAJOR PEAK 
WILL EXPERIENCE THE GREATEST THREAT OF FLASH FLOODING.
