MIDLAND COUNTY IN TEXAS
* UNTIL 200 AM CST
* AT 945 PM CST...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE REDEVELOPING IN
SOUTH MIDLAND COUNTY AND WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH.
* SOME LOCATIONS AFFECTED BY THIS FLASH FLOOD WARNING INCLUDE...
VALLEY VIEW...SPRABERRY AND COTTON FLAT
THE GROUND IN THIS AREA IS ALREADY SATURATED FROM PREVIOUS RAINS AND
ANY ADDITIONAL RAINFALL WILL ONLY MAKE MATTERS WORSE. SEVERAL ROADS
IN SOUTH MIDLAND COUNTY HAVE BEEN REPORTED TO BE COVERED WITH WATER.

MIDLAND COUNTY BETWEEN FM 1492 AND FM 1787 EASTWARD TO BETWEEN
HIGHWAY 158 AND FM 1379 AND FM 3095. WITH ADDITIONAL RAINFALL IT
WILL TAKE SEVERAL HOURS FOR THE WATERS TO RECEDE.
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT
QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY
IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING. DO NOT DRIVE
WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
