THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ST LOUIS HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  FRANKLIN COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL MISSOURI
  WARREN COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL MISSOURI

* UNTIL 730 AM CDT

* AT 228 AM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LONG
LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN FROM 25 MILES WEST
OF ST LOUIS NORTHWEST TO AROUND 60 MILES NORTHWEST OF COLUMBIA.
THESE STORMS ARE MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST..FOLLOWING ONE ANOTHER.
VERY HEAVY DOWNPOURS WILL CONTINUE FOR SEVERAL HOURS WITH RAINFALL
AMOUNTS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES OVERNIGHT.

* FLASH FLOODING CAN BE EXPECTED ACROSS THE AREA...AND WILL BE
AFFECTING THE AREA INCLUDING THE COMMUNITIES OF WARRENTON...
...WASHINGTON...UNION...AND PACIFIC.

IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED OR IMMINENT...MOVE QUICKLY TO HIGHER
GROUND. NEVER DRIVE INTO AN AREA WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING. ACT QUICKLY IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED. MOVE
TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT
TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
