THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHICAGO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  OGLE COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...

* UNTIL 1200 PM CDT.

* AT 820 AM CDT WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A CLUSTER OF THUNDERSTORMS
  CONTAINING HEAVY RAINFALL MOVING EASTWARD ACROSS CARROLL COUNTY.  THE
  STORMS WILL BE MOVING SLOWLY INTO WESTERN OGLE COUNTY BY 900 AM CDT
  WITH EXPECTED RAINFALL RATES OF AROUND ONE INCH PER HOUR.  THIS ROUND
  OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL CREATE FLASH FLOODING OF LOW LYING
  AREAS ALREADY SATURATED FROM YESTERDAYS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES. COUNTRY ROADS AND
FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS...AND OTHER LOW LYING
AREAS...ARE SUBJECT TO FLASH FLOODING.  PERSONS IN FLOOD PRONE AREAS
SHOULD BE PREPARED TO MOVE QUICKLY TO HIGHER GROUND.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY.
VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
