THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LOUISVILLE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  MONROE COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY

* UNTIL 700 PM CDT

* AT 500 PM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR HAS ESTIMATED
  RAINFALL AMOUNTS OVER ONE AND A HALF INCHES OVER MAINLY THE
  CENTRAL PORTION OF MONROE COUNTY SINCE 345 PM CDT. ADDITIONAL
  STORMS OVER NORTH CENTRAL TENNESSEE ARE EXPECTED TO MOVE NORTHEAST
  AT 25 MPH AND WILL AFFECT MONROE COUNTY OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF
  HOURS. THESE STORMS WILL TRAIN OVER AREAS WHICH HAVE ALREADY
  RECEIVED HEAVY RAINFALL THIS WEEKEND.

  LICK...PERSIMMON AND ROCKBRIDGE.

EXCESSIVE RAINFALL FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...ROADWAYS...AND LOW LYING AREAS.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY.
THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY.
VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY. MOVE TO
HIGHER GROUND.
