THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LOUISVILLE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  MADISON COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL KENTUCKY

* UNTIL 1145 PM EDT

* AT 946 PM EDT...NWS DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY
  HEAVY RAIN ACROSS NORTHERN MADISON COUNTY...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 15
  MPH.

* THUNDERSTORMS HAVE BEEN CONTINUOUSLY REDEVELOPING OVER THE
  WARNED AREA...RESULTING IN EXCESSIVE RAINFALL. NATIONAL WEATHER
  SERVICE RADAR HAS ESTIMATED THAT UP 2 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN HAVE
  FALLEN IN AN HOUR ACROSS WESTERN MADISON COUNTY.

* LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE RICHMOND AND VALLEY VIEW.


BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH FLOODED
