* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...

  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF LEXINGTON

  AMOUNTS...HAS FALLEN OVER THIS AREA TODAY.

  HEAVY RAIN SHOULD BEGIN TO ABATE AS WE REACH LATE EVENING...BUT UNTIL
  THEN FLASH FLOODING WILL BE A THREAT.

  LAW ENFORCEMENT HAS REPORTED WATER OVER ROADS...WATER BLOCKING
  SOME UNDERPASSES...AND A FEW PLACES WITH WATER OVER SMALL BRIDGES.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH FLOODED
ROADWAYS...IT MAY BE DIFFICULT TO JUDGE THE ACTUAL DEPTH OF THE
WATER. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT QUICKLY. MOVE TO HIGHER
GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.
