* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  RICHLAND PARISH IN NORTHEAST LOUISIANA
  WEST CARROLL PARISH IN NORTHEAST LOUISIANA
  MOREHOUSE PARISH IN NORTHEAST LOUISIANA

* UNTIL 1000 PM CST

* AT 731 PM CST...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED WIDESPREAD 
  SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS THE 
  WARNING AREA.  RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF ONE TO TWO INCHES HAVE BEEN     
  COMMON IN THE AREA BETWEEN 6 AND 730 PM.

  LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS IN MOREHOUSE PARISH REPORTED SEVERAL ROADS
  UNDERWATER AT 730 PM. ADDITIONALLY...SEVERAL DITCHES AND STREAMS WERE
  APPROACHING BANKFULL AND WERE THREATENING HOMES.  ADDITIONAL RAINFALL
  AMOUNTS OF ONE TO THREE INCHES BETWEEN 730 AND 10 PM WILL          
1  AGGRAVATE FLOODING PROBLEMS AND SEND DITCHES AND STREAMS OUT OF    
  THEIR BANKS.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.
