THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LINCOLN HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  DOUGLAS COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL ILLINOIS
  EDGAR COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL ILLINOIS

* UNTIL 630 AM CDT

* AT 140 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  VERY HEAVY RAIN CONTINUING ACROSS DOUGLAS AND EDGAR COUNTIES.
  THIS AREA OF STORMS EXTENDED ALL THE WAY BACK INTO SOUTHEASTERN IOWA
  AND WILL LIKELY PRODUCE COPIOUS AMOUNTS OF RAINFALL ACROSS THE WARNED
  COUNTIES THROUGH 500 AM. RADAR ESTIMATES THAT UP TO 1.5 INCHES OF RAIN
  HAS ALREADY FALLEN ACROSS PORTIONS OF DOUGLAS AND EDGAR COUNTIES.

* RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL LIKELY TOTAL UP TO 5 INCHES ACROSS PORTIONS OF
  DOUGLAS AND EDGAR COUNTIES BY 500 AM. THESE RAINFALL AMOUNTS
  WILL LIKELY PRODUCE FLASH FLOODING.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLASH FLOODS. IT IS VERY DIFFICULT AT NIGHT TO JUDGE HOW
MUCH WATER COVERS ROADWAYS. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS FLOODED ROADWAYS.
