NORTHERN GALVESTON COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST TEXAS SOUTHERN HARRIS COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST TEXAS * UNTIL 415 PM CDT * AT 116 PM CDT...LEAGUE CITY POLICE REPORTED VERY HEAVY RAINFALL IN THE LEAGUE CITY. THEY HAD RECEIVED PUBLIC REPORTS THAT THE BAYRIDGE SUBDIVISION HAD 12 TO 16 INCHES OF WATER STANDING IN THE STREETS WITH CARS STALLED. * FLOODING IS EXPECTED IN OR NEAR... LEAGUE CITY...BACLIFF...BAYOU VISTA...NEAR HOBBY AIRPORT... PASADENA...WEBSTER...DICKINSON AND FRIENDSWOOD. A CLUSTER OF THUNDERSTORMS HAS DEVELOPED OVER NORTHERN GALVESTON AND SOUTHERN HARRIS COUNTIES AND HAVE HAVE MOVED LITTLE. MORE STORMS WERE DEVELOPING OVER SOUTHERN GALVESTON COUNTY AND MOVING NORTH OVER AREAS THAT RECEIVED VERY HEAVY RAINFALL LATE THIS MORNING. ONE REPORT FROM A NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE EMPLOYEE REPORTED 4.6" HAD FALLEN BETWEEN 11 AM AND 1 PM IN SOUTH SHORE HARBOR. THESE STORMS THAT HAVE BEEN DEVELOPING HAVE BEEN PRODUCING RAINFALL RATES OF 2 TO 3 INCHES PER HOUR. THIS HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE STREET FLOODING. DO NOT CROSS ANY LOCATION WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD OR ATTEMPT TO TRAVEL THROUGH UNDERPASSES...OR FEEDER ROADS AND OTHER LOW SPOTS THAT MAY FLOOD. SMALL CREEKS...STREAMS...BAYOUS...UNDERPASSES...AND FEEDER ROADS MAY FLOOD QUICKLY. AVOID LOCATIONS WATER COVERS THE GROUND!
