* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  ELLIS COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS
  JOHNSON COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS
  NAVARRO COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS

* UNTIL 1045 PM CDT

* AT 745 PM CDT...LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED FLOODING OVER
  INTERSTATE 35 AT THE INTERSECTION WITH FARM MARKET 66 IN ELLIS
  COUNTY.

RADAR INDICATES VERY HEAVY RAINS CONTINUE OVER THE AREA FROM CLEBURNE...TO
CORSICANA. WITH STORMS MOVING SLOWLY...AND REPEATEDLY OVER THE SAME
AREA...RUNOFF WILL BE EXCESSIVE...RESULTING IN FLOODING OF LOW-LYING AND
FLOOD PRONE AREAS.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...URBAN AREAS...HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND UNDERPASSES
AS WELL AS OTHER DRAINAGE AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT
QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY
IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
