THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SIOUX FALLS HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  EASTERN CHARLES MIX COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA

* UNTIL 445 AM CDT

* AT 142 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  VERY HEAVY RAINFALL WAS OCCURRING OVER THE WARNED AREA.
 
RADAR ESTIMATED THAT 3 TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN IN THE LAKE 
ANDES NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE AREA BETWEEN 1230 AND 130 AM.
RADAR ALSO SHOWS THAT THE THUNDERSTORM PRODUCING THIS HEAVY 
RAINFALL...CONTINUES TO REDEVELOP OVER THE SAME AREA...ALONG AND
JUST NORTH OF A LAKES ANDES TO WAGNER LINE. THE STORM SHOULD WEAKEN
AND EXIT THIS AREA DURING THE PRE DAWN HOURS BEFORE SUNRISE...EASING
THE FLOODING THREAT.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE 
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.
