THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN COLUMBIA HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHERN RICHMOND COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL GEORGIA

* UNTIL 900 PM EDT.

* AT 632 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATED 4 
TO 6 INCHES OF RAIN HAD FALLEN ACROSS SOUTHERN RICHMOND COUNTY FROM 
FT GORDON EAST TO NEAR HEPHZIBAH AND MECHANIC HILL OVER THE PAST TWO 
HOURS. RADAR CONTINUED TO INDICATE THUNDERSTORMS IN THAT AREA...AND 
WILL CONTINUE TO PRODUCE ADDITIONAL RAINFALL. 

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING. 
IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNING AREA MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY. 
RESIDENTS IN LOW LYING FLOOD PRONE AREAS SHOULD BE ON THE ALERT FOR 
FLOODING...AND PREPARE TO SEEK HIGHER GROUND IF NECESSARY. 

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED. MOVE TO
HIGHER GROUND.

REPORT ANY HAIL...DAMAGING WINDS OR FLOODING TO YOUR COUNTY SHERIFF 
OR TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FORECAST OFFICE IN4 COLUMBIA.
