THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN COLUMBIA HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  RICHMOND COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL GEORGIA
  SOUTHERN AIKEN COUNTY IN CENTRAL SOUTH CAROLINA
  COLUMBIA COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL GEORGIA

* UNTIL 100 AM EDT.

* AT 1015 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED 
  HEAVY RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS 10 MILES NORTHWEST OF                 
  WAYNESBORO...OR ABOUT 5 MILES SOUTH OF HEPHZIBAH TO MARTINEZ.

SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN THE
WARNED AREA. RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH 
FLOODING IN MARTINEZ...AUGUSTA...AND THE HEPHZIPAH AREAS.

FLASH FLOODING IS LIKELY ALONG RAES CREEK AND REED CREEK.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING.
IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNING AREA MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY.
RESIDENTS LIVING ALONG STREAMS AND CREEKS SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATE
PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED. MOVE TO
HIGHER GROUND.

REPORT ANY HAIL...DAMAGING WINDS OR FLOODING TO YOUR COUNTY SHERIFF
