THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BUFFALO HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD WARNING FOR URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOODING FOR...
  SOUTHEAST ERIE COUNTY IN WESTERN NEW YORK
  WYOMING COUNTY IN WESTERN NEW YORK

* UNTIL 400 PM EDT

* AT 200 PM EDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED CLUSTERS OF   
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN FROM EAST AURORA AND            
  WALES...EAST ACROSS MUCH OF WYOMING COUNTY. RADAR INDICATED ONE TO 
  TWO INCHES OF RAIN HAVE ALREADY FALLEN DURING THE PAST HOUR. 

* THE STORMS WERE MOVING VERY SLOWLY AND WILL CONTINUE TO REDEVELOP  
  OVER THE SAME AREAS THROUGH 330 PM. ANOTHER ONE TO TWO INCHES IS   
  POSSIBLE. THIS CAN RESULT IN FLOODING ALONG CREEKS AND IN LOW      
  LYING AREAS.

A FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING. 
RESIDENTS LIVING NEAR STREAMS AND CREEKS SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATE 
PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS 
SWIFTLY FLOWING WATERS OR WATERS OF UNKNOWN DEPTH BY FOOT OR BY 
AUTOMOBILE.
