 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BUFFALO HAS ISSUED A 

* FLOOD WARNING  FOR EASTERN MONROE COUNTY AND WESTERN WAYNE COUNTY 
  IN WESTERN NEW YORK
  
* UNTIL 7 PM EDT

*

* VERY HEAVY RAIN FROM LAST NIGHTS THUNDERSTORMS CAUSED THE FOUR 
  MILE CREEK IN NORTHEAST MONROE COUNTY TO OVERFLOW ITS BANKS.  
  STATE ROAD IN WEBSTER IS FLOODED AND LOW LYING FLOODING HAS ALSO 
  BEEN REPORTED IN WESTERN WAYNE COUNTY. 

  SCATTERED SHOWERS OR THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE ACROSS THE AREA THIS 
  AFTERNOON. WHILE THE RAIN WILL NOT BE AS HEAVY OR PROLONGED AS IT 
  WAS LAST NIGHT...FLOODING IN LOW LYING AREAS AND ALONG CREEKS WILL 
  CONTINUE INTO THE EARLY EVENING HOURS. 

  A FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT. 
  REMEMBER...DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRRIVE ACROSS ROADS THAT ARE FLOODED.
