THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BUFFALO HAS EXTENDED A...

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  ONTARIO COUNTY IN WESTERN NEW YORK
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF CANANDAIGUA

* UNTIL 1100 PM EDT

* AT 911 PM EDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED A CLUSTER OF  
  STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WITH TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS 10 MILES SOUTH OF   
  CANANDAIGUA...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH.

* THUNDERSTORM WITH EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CROSS...
  ONTARIO COUNTY BETWEEN 915 AND 1015 PM.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE ADDITIONAL FLOODING OF 
SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES. COUNTRY ROADS 
AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS AND OTHER LOW 
LYING AREAS ARE ALSO SUBJECT TO FLASH FLOODING.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING. 
RESIDENTS LIVING ALONG STREAMS AND CREEKS SHOULD TAKE PRECAUTIONS 
AND BE READY TO MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS 
SWIFTLY FLOWING WATERS OR WATERS OF UNKNOWN DEPTH BY FOOT OR BY 
AUTOMOBILE. IF YOUR VEHICLE STALLS, ABANDON IT IMMEDIATELY AND SEEK
