* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
WEST CENTRAL JEFFERSON COUNTY IN NORTHEAST COLORADO
EXTREME NORTHEAST PARK COUNTY IN NORTHEAST COLORADO
* UNTIL 5 PM MDT
* AT 325 PM MDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR A STRONG
THUNDERSTORM LOCATED 5 MILES NORTH OF PINE. THE STORM WAS MOVING
SOUTH TOWARDS THE HI MEADOW BURN AREA AT ABOUT 10 MILES PER HOUR.
RADAR INDICATED UP TO A HALF INCH OF RAIN HAS OCCURRED IN 30 MINUTES
WITH THE STORM.
LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE...BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO... THE HI
MEADOW BURN AREA AS WELL AS POINTS DOWNSTREAM ALONG THE NORTH FORK
OF THE SOUTH PLATTE RIVER...INCLUDING PINE AND RIVERVIEW.
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING.

HIGHER GROUND.
EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF CREEKS
AND STREAMS IN THE HI MEADOW BURN AREA...ROADS AND ROADSIDE CULVERTS.
THEy HEAVY RAINS COULD ALSO TRIGGER ROCK AND MUDSLIDES IN STEEP
TERRAIN.
