THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BINGHAMTON HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
  TIOGA NEW YORK.
  CHENANGO NEW YORK.
  BRADFORD PENNSYLVANIA.
  BROOME NEW YORK.

* UNTIL 545 AM EDT.

* AT 242 AM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED   
  TO SHOW VERY HEAVY RAINFALL OVER THE WARNING AREA. ADDITIONAL      
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE INTO THE       
  WARNING AREA OVERNIGHT.

* EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL BE NEAR BINGHAMTON...OWEGO...NORWICH...    
  WHITNEY POINT...AND TOWANDA THROUGH 6 AM.

SLOW MOVING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL 
RAINFALL IN THE WARNED AREA. RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL 
WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING IN SMALL STREAMS AND CREEKS.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED. MOVE TO
HIGHER GROUND.
