* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  STEUBEN COUNTY IN CENTRAL NEW YORK.

* UNTIL 900 PM EDT.

* AT 609 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL...ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM
  WELLSVILLE TO ADDISON ...MOVING EAST AT 20 MPH.

* THUNDERSTORMS WITH EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL BE NEAR...
  ADDISON AND ERWINS AROUND 620 PM EDT.
  WILLEYVILLE AND WOODHULL AROUND 625 PM EDT.
  YOUNG HICKORY AROUND 630 PM EDT.
  TROUPSBURG AROUND 635 PM EDT.
  CATON AROUND 655 PM EDT.

THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING RAINFALL OF ONE INCH PER HOUR WILL CONTINUE 
TO MOVE SLOWLY THROUGH THE TUSCARORA CREEK BASIN INCLUDING THE ROUTE 
417 CORRIDOR SOUTH TO THE PENNSYLVANIA STATE LINE THROUGH 700 PM. 
THIS RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING IN THIS AREA.

IN THE CANISTEO BASIN...WHILE THE HEAVY RAIN HAS MOVED SOUTH OF THE 
ROUTE 119 CORRIDOR...RUNOFF FROM THE EARLIER RAINFALL WILL CONTINUE 
TO PRODUCE FLOODING...PARTICULARLY IN CAMERON TOWNSHIP. 

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE 
ROADWAY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED. MOVE TO
HIGHER GROUND.
