HEMPHILL COUNTY IN THE TEXAS PANHANDLE WHEELER COUNTY IN THE TEXAS PANHANDLE * UNTIL 200 AM CDT * AT 1057 PM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL OVER WHEELER AND HEMPHILL COUNTIES. RADAR ESTIMATES THAT 2 TO 6 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN OVER A 15 MILE SWATH FROM LELA...TO WHEELER...TO BRISCOE AND ALLISON...TO LAKE MARVIN.
