NORTHERN LITCHFIELD COUNTY IN NORTHERN CONNECTICUT * UNTIL 830 PM EDT * AT 530 PM EDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAIN FROM 16 MILES NORTHWEST OF WINSTED TO 20 MILES WEST OF WINSTED...MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 45 MPH. * THUNDERSTORMS WITH EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL BE NEAR... OVER WINSTED AT 550 PM EDT OVER BARKHAMSTED AND NEW HARTFORD AT 600 PM EDT * THE MAD RIVER...STILL RIVER AND NEPAUG RIVER WILL RISE TO NEAR OR SLIGHTLY ABOVE BANKFULL.
