THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBANY HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  LITCHFIELD COUNTY IN NORTHERN CONNECTICUT

* UNTIL 1230 AM SUNDAY MORNING

* AT 635 PM EDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY
HEAVY RAIN OVER LITCHFIELD COUNTY ABOUT 20 MILES EITHER SIDE OF
THE ROUTE 63. THE HEAVY RAIN WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THIS SAME GENERAL
AREA EARLY THIS EVENING...GIVING ANOTHER TWO INCHES OF RAIN...
IN ADDITION TO THE TWO TO FOUR INCHES THAT HAD ALREADY FALLEN EARLIER TODAY.

THE LITCHFIELD EMERGENCY DISPATCHER INDICATED THAT FLOODING WAS OCCURRING
ON ROUTE 7 IN FALLS VILLAGE AND ADDITIONAL FLOODING WAS AFFECTING ROUTE
4 IN CORNWALL. A SKYWARN SPOTTER OBSERVED FLOODING IN BANTAM.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES.
