NORTHERN BERKSHIRE COUNTY IN WESTERN MASSACHUSETTS * UNTIL 1230 AM EDT * AT 930 PM EDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAIN 7 MILES WEST OF ADAMS...MOVING EAST AT 35 MPH. * THE THUNDERSTORM WITH EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL BE NEAR... ADAMS AT 940 PM EDT 5 MILES SOUTH OF NORTH ADAMS AT 945 PM EDT RADAR INDICATES BETWEEN 2 AND 3 INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN WITH THE HEAVIEST BETWEEN ADAMS AND LANESBORO. AN ADDITIONAL INCH IS POSSIBLE. THE RAIN WILL TAPER OFF BETWEEN 1030 PM AND 11 PM. A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING.
