THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBANY HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  ALBANY COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL NEW YORK

* UNTIL 1215 AM EDT

* AT 610 PM EDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY
  HEAVY RAIN ACROSS MUCH OF ALBANY COUNTY. RAIN...HEAVY AT TIMES
  WILL OCCUR ACROSS THE COUNTY THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF THE
  EVENING. RAINFALL AMOUNTS HAVE ALREADY REACHED 2 TO 4 INCHES
  ACROSS THE COUNTY WITH ANOTHER 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN POSSIBLE.
  MANY STREAMS AND CREEKS IN THE COUNTY WILL RISE TO AT OR ABOVE
  BANKFULL AS A RESULT OF THE HEAVY RAIN. IN ADDITION MUDSLIDES ARE
  POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY IN AREAS WHERE THE GROUND WAS ALREADY
  WEAKENED BY RAINFALL IN MAY AND EARLIER THIS MONTH.

DO NOT CROSS AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. THE KWATER
DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY. VEHICLES
CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY. MOVE TO HIGHER
GROUND.
