THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBUQUERQUE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  CENTRAL LOS ALAMOS COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL NEW MEXICO

* UNTIL 700 PM MDT

* AT 449 PM MDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  HEAVY RAIN 6 MILES WEST OF LOS ALAMOS...MOVING EAST TO EASTSOUTHEAST 
  AT 10 MPH. RAIN HAS PERSISTED OVER THE LAST FEW HOURS AND IS 
  EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH AT LEAST 700 PM. LOCATIONS IN THE BURN
  AREA CAN EXPECT FLOODING OF STREAM AND ARROYOS AS WELL RUNOFF OVER
  THE BURN AREAS.  

ARROYOS...STREAMS AND RIVERS CAN BECOME RAGING KILLER CURRENTS IN A
MATTER OF MINUTES. KNOW WHERE HIGHER GROUND IS LOCATED.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING.
