THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PEACHTREE CITY HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  COBB COUNTY IN NORTHWESTERN GEORGIA

* UNTIL 100 AM EDT

* HEAVY RAIN HAS FALLEN ACROSS COBB COUNTY FROM EVENING
THUNDERSTORMS. RADAR ESTIMATES THAT 2 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN HAVE
LIKELY FALLEN SINCE 7 PM THIS EVENING...ESPECIALLY IN SOUTH COBB
COUNTY. MOST OF THE RAIN HAS DISSIPATED HOWEVER RUNOFF FROM THE
HEAVY RAIN HAS RESULTED IN THE FLOODING OF STREETS AND WATER IN A
FEW HOMES. THIS FLOODING WILL LIKELY CONTINUE FOR THE NEXT 2 TO 3
HOURS BEFORE SUBSIDING. LITTLE ADDITIONAL RAIN IS EXPECTED TONIGHT.

IT IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO RECOGNIZE THE DANGERS OF FLASH FLOODS
AT NIGHT. WATCH FOR RISING WATER. IF YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS IS
