THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DES MOINES HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTHEASTERN CERRO GORDO COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL IOWA
  SOUTHERN WORTH COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL IOWA

* UNTIL 900 AM CDT

* NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAINS
  ALONG THE WORTH AND NORTHEAST CERRO GORDO COUNTY LINES OVERNIGHT
  WITH MORE RAINS MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH ALONG HIGHWAY 9.

* A VERY SERIOUS FLOODING SITUATION REMAINS UNDERWAY IN SOUTHERN
  WORTH AND NORTHEAST CERRO GORDO COUNTIES.  NATIONAL WEATHER
  SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES INDICATE 4 TO 9 INCHES OF RAIN
  HAS FALLEN OVERNIGHT WITH MORE SHOWERS AND STORMS ON THE WAY.
  THIS WILL CONTINUE TO CAUSE SIGNIFICANT FLOODING OF THE SHELL ROCK
  RIVER AND ITS TRIBUTARIES THIS MORNING.  EXPECT WATER OVER
  ROADS...WATER IN BASEMENTS AND MANY FLOODED AREAS.

THIS EXTENDS THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING THAT WAS PREVIOUSLY ISSUED.
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IF FLOOD WATERS THREATEN. DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH
FLOODED ROADS.  YOUR VEHICLE COULD BE WASHED AWAY VERY QUICKLY.
