THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BUFFALO HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHERN CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY IN NEW YORK
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF JAMESTOWN

* UNTIL 745 PM EDT

* AT 636 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A 
CLUSTER OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS BETWEEN JAMESTOWN AND CLYMER. THE 
STORMS WERE NEARLY STATIONARY.

IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES GO TO A SAFE PLACE IMMEDIATELY. IN
HOMES A BASEMENT OR INTERIOR ROOM IS THE SAFEST LOCATION.

IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A STRONG
BUILDING. DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN WHICH MAY 
PRODUCE FLASH FLOODING...AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN SEVERE 
THUNDERSTORMS. STAY INSIDE AWAY FROM WINDOWS UNTIL THE STORM HAS 
PASSED.
