THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BUFFALO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY IN WESTERN NEW YORK

* UNTIL 900 AM EDT

* AT AT 555 AM EDT ...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR
  INDICATED AN AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS THAT EXTENDED FROM SHERMAN TO
  RIPLEY.

  THESE STORMS HAVE REMAINED NEARLY STATIONARY AND HAVE
PRODUCED SIGNIFICANT FLOODING ALONG ROUTE 5 AND ROUTE 20 IN THE TOWN
OF RIPLEY. BECAUSE THE STORMS ARE MOVING SO SLOWLY THE THREAT OF
FLOODING WILL CONTINUE FOR SEVERAL MORE HOURS.
