   CENTRAL MOHAVE COUNTY IN NORTHWESTERN ARIZONA

   DOLAN SPRINGS
   HUALAPAI INDIAN RESERVATION

AT 225 PM MST...DOPPLER RADAR DETECTED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WITH
VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER CENTRAL MOHAVE COUNTY. THE AREA WAS BOUNDIED
BY HIGHWAY 93 TO THE WEST...GRAND CANYON TO THE NORTH AND ROUTE 66
TO THE SOUTH. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE NEARLY STATIONARY. DOPPLER
RADAR ESTIMATES WERE BETWEEN AN INCH /1.00/ AND AN INCH AND A HALF
/1.50/ IN AN HOUR.

AREA RESIDENTS SHOULD MONITOR FLOOD CONDITIONS... AND BE PREPARED
TO MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND... SHOULD FLOOD WATERS THREATEN. IF FLASH
FLOODING IS OBSERVED... ACT QUICKLY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND TO
ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT ^STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN
WATER BEGINS RISING.
