THE GREATER TUCSON AREA...UNTIL 8 AM...

AT 110 AM ANOTHER BAND OF MODERATE SHOWERS WAS SPREADING INTO
EASTERN PIMA COUNTY FROM THE NORTHWEST. RAIN AT A RATE UP TO .3
OR .4 INCHES PER HOUR WAS FALLING ON AREAS THAT HAVE ALREADY
RECEIVED ABOUT 1 INCH IN THE PAST 12 HOURS. PERIODS OF SHOWERS WILL
CONTINUE TO MOVE THROUGH EASTERN PIMA COUNTY THROUGH THE EARLY
MORNING HOURS AND STREAMBEDS AND WASHES WILL CONTINUE TO FLOW
HEAVILY...AND IN SOME AREAS RISE. AT THIS TIME...NONE ARE EXPECTED
TO OVERFLOW THEIR BANKS...BUT ANY ROAD THAT GOES THROUGH A WASH WILL
BECOME IMPASSABLE IF IT IS NOT ALREADY.

DUE TO THE NUMBER OF ROADS THAT PASS THROUGH THESE FLOWING WASHES IN
EASTERN PIMA COUNTY...ESPECIALLY THE GREATER TUCSON AREA...A
SMALL S@TREAM FLOOD WARNING WILL BE IN EFFECT THROUGH 8 AM.

DO NOT DRIVE AROUND BARRIERS TO GET THROUGH THESE WASHES. DO NOT
DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD!
