* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR
     FRANKLIN COUNTY IN NORTHWEST ARKANSAS
     CARROLL COUNTY IN NORTHWEST ARKANSAS
     MADISON COUNTY IN NORTHWEST ARKANSAS
     LE FLORE COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA
     SEBASTIAN COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL ARKANSAS

* UNTIL 600 PM CDT

* AT 315 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED AN AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS 
PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN ACROSS NORTHWEST ARKANSAS AND EXTREME 
EASTERN OKLAHOMA. THE HEAVIEST RAINS AT 315 PM WERE LOCATED FROM NEAR
HUNTSVILLE TO WEST OF OZARK TO EAST OF FORT SMITH TO PAGE. RAINFALL
RATES OF 1 TO 2 INCEHS AN HOUR WILL BE POSSIBLE IN THE FLASH FLOOD
WARNING AREA.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND 
STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES. ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY ROADS AND 
FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS AND OTHER LOW LYING 
AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLASH FLOODING.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF CREEKS 
AND STREAMS...ROADS AND ROADSIDE CULVERTS. 

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
