THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SALT LAKE CITY HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING/SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
  WESTERN KANE COUNTY - IN SOUTH CENTRAL UTAH

* UNTIL 410 PM MDT

* AT 301 PM MDT... A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED BY DOPPLER
  RADAR 5 MILES EAST OF KANAB MOVING NORTHEAST AT 15 MPH.

* THIS STORM IS EXPECTED TO REMAIN IN RURAL AREAS

HEAVY RAINFALL ALONG AND NORTH OF U.S. 89 EAST OF KANAB WILL
PRODUCE FLASH FLOODING ACROSS PORTIONS OF THIS HIGHWAY.

HEAVY THUNDERSTORM RAINS WILL QUICKLY FLOOD ROADTS.  DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
