EASTERN KIOWA COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN COLORADO * UNTIL 750 PM MDT * AT 645 PM MDT...RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE STORM 5 MILES SOUTHWEST OF SHERIDAN LAKE OR 18 MILES EAST SOUTHEAST OF EADS MOVING EAST SOUTHEAST AT 25 MPH. SOME LOCATIONS AFFECTED WILL BE ALONG AND SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 96 THROUGH 745 PM MDT AND CROSSING HIGHWAY 385 BY 7 PM MDT. AT THIS TIME...THE MOST LIKELY SEVERE WEATHER WITH THIS STORM IS LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS. A TORNADO WATCH IS IN EFFECT. SEVERE STORMS CAN PRODUCE TORNADOES. IF YOU ARE IN OR CLOSE TO THE WARNED AREA GO TO SAFETY IN A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM AWAY FROM WINDOWS. A BASEMENT OFFERS THE BEST PROTECTION. THE THREAT OF TORNADIC ACTIVITY WITH THIS STORM HAS DECREASED... HOWEVER THE STORM REMAINS SEVERE.
