THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PUEBLO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  EAST CENTRAL PUEBLO COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN COLORADO

* UNTIL 350 AM MDT

* AT 152 AM MDT...DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATED 2 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN
  SINCE MIDNIGHT ALONG HIGHWAY 96 JUST SOUTHEAST OF BOONE...OR 22
  MILES EAST OF PUEBLO.  THE HEAVY RAIN WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 10
  MPH.

* THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN WILL BRING FLOODING RAIN
  ALONG HIGHWAY 96 FROM BOONE TO THE CROWLEY COUNTY LINE AND ALONG
  HIGHWAY 50 SOUTH OF BOONE TO THE OTERO COUNTY LINE THROUGH 350 AM.

WHERE KRAMER CREEK CROSSES HIGHWAY 96 ABOUT 6 MILES SOUTHEAST
OF BOONE IS PARTICULARLY PRONE TO FLASH FLOODING DURING THESE TYPE
OF HEAVY RAIN EVENTS.

IF YOU ARE IN OR CLOSE TO THE WARNED AREA GO TO HIGHER GROUND
IMMEDIATELY.  DO NOT DRIVE OR WALK THROUGH WATER.  YOU NEVER KNOW
HOW DEEP THE WATER REALLY IS.  KEEP CHILDREN AWAY FROM DRAINAGE
DITCHES AND SWIFTLY FLOWING WATER.
