THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PUEBLO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  CENTRAL AND WESTERN KIOWA COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN COLORADO

* UNTIL 1105 PM MDT

* AT 905 PM MDT...DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATED ONE TO TWO INCHES PER
HOUR OF RAINFALL OVER MUCH OF WESTERN AND CENTRAL KIOWA COUNTY.  A
WEATHER SPOTTER IN HASWELL REPORTED FLOODING OF STREETS AND
PORTIONS OF HIGHWAY 96 NEAR HASWELL.  THE STORMS PRODUCING HEAVY RAIN
WERE MOVING EAST AT 15 MPH..

* THUNDERSTORMS WILL BRING FLOODING RAIN TO HIGHWAY 96 FROM
AROUND ARLINGTON TO EADS THROUGH 1105 PM MDT AS WELL AS THE OPEN
COUNTRY NORTH OF HIGHWAY 96 THROUGH 1105 PM MDT.  FLOODING RAIN MAY
SPREAD TO AREAS SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 96 AS WELL LATE THIS EVENING.

IF YOU ARE IN OR CLOSE TO THE WARNED AREA GO TO HIGHER GROUND
IMMEDIATELY.  DO NOT DRIVE OR WALK THROUGH WATER.  YOU NEVER KNOW
HOW DEEP THE WATER REALLY IS.  KEEP CHILDREN AWAY FROM DRAINAGE
DITCHES AND SWIFTLY FLOWING WATER.
